Appellate Litigation Associate — Appellate Litigation

Seeking an associate to join a busy appellate litigation team with positions based in Seattle or Portland (multiple office placement options may be considered). The role emphasizes appellate brief writing, preparation and advocacy for oral argument, and supporting trial teams on preservation of issues and significant motions in state and federal appeals nationwide.

The firm values candidates with strong academic credentials, exceptional legal research and writing skills, and demonstrated appellate or civil litigation experience. This is an opportunity to work on high‑profile appeals alongside experienced litigators and develop courtroom advocacy skills.

• 2–5 years of civil litigation experience (post‑bar); appellate experience preferred
• Federal or state appellate court clerkship preferred
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Admission to (or eligibility to waive into) the Washington or Oregon bar, or admission in the state of the office location
