Asset Management Associate — Private Funds, Los Angeles

Private funds team in the Los Angeles office is seeking a senior associate with substantial private fund experience, primarily focused on private equity fund formation and related transactional work. Day-to-day work will include drafting and negotiating fund formation documents, advising investment managers across a range of fund structures and providing broad legal support to institutional asset-management clients. • 6-8 years' PQE in private funds, with a strong focus on private equity fund formation
• Demonstrable experience drafting and negotiating LPAs, side letters and related fund documentation
• Familiarity advising fund managers on regulatory and commercial issues affecting fund formation and governance
• Strong drafting, commercial judgment and ability to manage client relationships
