Associate, Banking & Finance — Melbourne

Well-regarded Australian law firm seeks an Associate to join its Banking & Finance team in the Melbourne office. The role offers exposure to a broad range of bank-led and corporate finance matters and the chance to work on transactions for institutional and corporate lenders.

The team handles syndicated and bilateral lending, acquisition finance and refinancing matters, with opportunities to collaborate across debt, real estate and corporate teams. This is a hands-on role with client-facing work and document drafting responsibility.

• Qualified solicitor admitted in Australia (or eligible for admission)
• Experience in banking and finance transactions (syndicated loans, bilateral facilities or acquisition finance)
• Strong drafting and commercial judgment on financing documentation
• Ability to manage workflow in a transactional team and liaise with lenders, borrowers and external counsel
