Associate — Business Restructuring & Reorganization, New York

Seeking an associate to join a busy Business Restructuring & Reorganization team in New York. The role involves a mix of creditor, debtor and distressed-acquisition work across chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings.

Candidates should have experience representing creditors or borrowers, including work for hedge funds, CLOs, private equity funds or other financial institutions on liability-management matters and restructuring transactions. Preference will be given to candidates based in or able to work from the New York office.

• Law school graduation in class years 2019 022 (or equivalent experience)
• Experience representing creditors or borrowers in chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings
• Familiarity with liability management transactions, distressed acquisitions and creditors' rights
• Admission or eligibility to be admitted to practice in New York preferred
