An internationally recognized corporate practice is seeking a mid-level associate to join its capital markets and public securities team in San Francisco. The group advises issuers and underwriters across the full spectrum of public securities transactions.

The role centers on public offerings — including IPOs and other equity and equity-linked transactions — with a strong emphasis on the technology, consumer/retail and life sciences sectors, alongside ongoing representation of public companies on corporate governance and SEC and exchange reporting and compliance.

Candidates will take on meaningful client contact, managing relationships and the day-to-day workflow demands of sophisticated clients. This is an opportunity to work within a highly regarded, fast-paced capital markets department.

Two to seven years of capital markets and public securities experience
Experience representing companies and/or underwriters in public securities offerings, including IPOs and equity or equity-linked transactions
Experience advising public companies on corporate governance, SEC and exchange reporting and compliance
Prior experience in the capital markets department of a national or international law firm
Strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school
Proven ability to manage client relationships and complex workflows
