A leading international law firm is seeking a motivated Associate to join its top-ranked Serious and Catastrophic Injury team in its Birmingham office. The team acts on complex, high-profile matters for a wide range of insurer and corporate clients, including cases that have attracted national media attention.

The role involves investigating and managing high-value files, working directly alongside experienced Partners and Senior Associates across complex motor, EL/PL, chronic pain and sport-related concussion claims. Files span both pre-litigation and litigated large-loss and multi-track work, with opportunities to contribute to cross-border quantum investigations via international offices.

The team takes a modern, client-partnering approach, supported by in-house R&D and a suite of technological and process innovations, and avoids unnecessary lawyering. This is a hybrid, full-time permanent position offering genuine career development, on-the-job learning and mentoring.

2+ years' UK-qualified Solicitor or CILEX qualified, with relevant catastrophic injury defence litigation experience
Previous client contact and attendance at business development events
Strong negotiation skills
