Associate — Commercial Litigation, Brisbane

Join a highly regarded Australian law firm seeking an associate to join its commercial litigation team in Brisbane. The role involves working on a broad range of commercial disputes across courts and tribunals, supporting senior litigators and taking ownership of case preparation, drafting and client communications.

The team acts for corporate and institutional clients on complex commercial matters. The successful candidate will work collaboratively on contested litigation, advising on strategy, managing interlocutory steps and contributing to hearings and mediation where required.

• Admission to practice in Australia (or imminent admission)
• Practical experience in commercial litigation: drafting, court documents, discovery and interlocutory work
• Strong legal research, drafting and advocacy skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and manage client-facing responsibilities
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
