Mid-level litigation associate role in a major international law firm’s Miami litigation team. The team handles high-value commercial disputes, class actions, arbitration-related matters and trials across a range of industries.

The role offers hands-on responsibility across all phases of litigation — motion practice, discovery, depositions, trials and appeals — and expects the associate to act as a lead associate on matters from an early stage. The position suits a driven litigation lawyer who enjoys client-facing work, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to business development.

3–5 years post-qualification commercial / civil litigation experience in a law firm (judicial clerkship experience strongly preferred)
Excellent legal research and brief-writing skills; experience drafting substantive motions and appellate briefs
Proven trial and deposition experience, with strong oral advocacy and courtroom presence
Ability to manage discovery, supervise junior lawyers, and take primary responsibility on matters
Commercial judgment, strong organization/time-management, and client-service focus
Admitted to the Florida Bar (or eligible and willing to seek admission); fluency in English (Spanish or Portuguese useful)
