Join a growing non-contentious Construction & Engineering team based in Bristol, focused on infrastructure and projects alongside residential development work. The team acts for a range of public- and private-sector clients and is developing its infrastructure capability (transport, flood defence and healthcare projects).

The role involves drafting, negotiating and advising on complex construction and engineering contracts (NEC4 and bespoke forms), managing a personal caseload, supporting fee/tender proposals and contributing to business development and knowledge-sharing activities. Progression is supported by experienced senior colleagues.

Qualified solicitor with construction, projects or commercial contracts experience (construction-contract experience advantageous)
Proven ability drafting and negotiating standard-form and bespoke construction contracts (eg NEC4)
Experience managing a caseload and supervising junior team members
Strong academic record, excellent attention to detail and high-quality written and verbal communication
Client-facing skills with ability to build relationships at all levels
Organised, self-motivated team player able to work to deadlines; commercial awareness and appetite to develop business
