Apply in confidence →Senior associate role within a well‑established Canadian corporate practice, joining the Energy group in the Calgary office. The team advises on energy-focused private M&A, divestitures and complex project development for clients across oil & gas, power and renewables.
The position offers significant transaction exposure across deal structuring, joint ventures, co‑ownership and commercial arrangements, with opportunities to work on development, construction, procurement and offtake aspects of projects.
The team provides structured mentorship, advanced training and meaningful client contact. Hybrid working arrangements are available; offers are subject to standard pre‑employment checks.
- Qualified to practise in Alberta (or eligible for admission)
- 6–8 years post‑qualification experience in private practice or a mix of private practice and in‑house, with experience in oil & gas, power and/or renewables
- Proven experience on private M&A, joint ventures and/or project development matters
- Strong academic record and excellent analytical, drafting and interpersonal skills
