We are seeking a talented litigator to join our Toronto office as an Associate in our Disputes group. The successful candidate will work on complex commercial disputes and arbitration matters, gaining exposure to high-quality, sophisticated files and top-tier training in a collaborative and supportive team environment.

The role involves handling commercial disputes such as contractual disputes, commercial arbitration, banking litigation, shareholder disputes, injunctive relief, competition litigation, and real estate disputes. You will assist with complex trials and arbitrations, argue motions and applications, attend court hearings, conduct examinations for discovery, prepare witnesses, draft pleadings and court materials, conduct legal research, and advise clients on dispute resolution strategy. Strong advocacy, legal research, and drafting skills are essential, along with excellent judgment and strategic thinking.

1–4 years of experience in commercial litigation or arbitration
Good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
Experience in commercial disputes, including but not limited to contractual disputes, commercial arbitration, banking litigation, shareholder disputes, injunctive relief, competition litigation, and real estate disputes
Strong advocacy, legal research, and drafting skills
Excellent judgment, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
