A New York office seeks a mid-level associate to join a highly regarded Energy and Infrastructure Transactions team. The role centers on the energy sector — particularly power generation and transmission — as well as broader infrastructure matters.

The work spans acquisitions and dispositions of, and equity investments in, projects and portfolios, project development, and financings. The associate will work closely with partners, other associates, and clients in a collaborative environment.

Mid-level associate with experience in the energy (particularly power generation and transmission) and infrastructure sectors
Experience with acquisitions and dispositions of, and equity investments in, projects and portfolios, project development, and financings
Ability to perform and supervise due diligence and to draft principal and ancillary agreements
Experience coordinating with tax, environmental, real estate, and regulatory specialists and managing closings
Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school
Strong organizational, analytical, writing, oral communication, and interpersonal skills
Admitted to practice in New York
