Associate — Executive Compensation, Corporate (New York)

Highly regarded corporate practice is seeking a lateral associate to join its Executive Compensation group in New York. The team advises public and private companies, boards, compensation committees and executives on executive pay and equity matters across transactional and strategic contexts.

Work includes advising on executive compensation arrangements in M&A, restructurings, IPOs, spin-offs and other corporate events, and coordinating with cross-disciplinary teams on securities, tax, disclosure and governance considerations.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a law-firm corporate practice
• Practical experience on executive compensation matters preferred (not solely ERISA/benefits or employment/labor)
• Experience working on transactional and advisory matters involving equity-based and incentive arrangements
