Apply in confidence →Mid-level associate position in a market-leading Government Contracts & National Security practice based in Washington, D.C. The group handles a broad mix of litigation, investigations, export controls, cybersecurity, transactional work involving government contractors, and counseling on grant and award compliance.
The role will involve litigation and investigation matters as well as transactional support for deals involving government contractors (due diligence, asset/stock purchase agreements, novations). Work is fast-paced and often tied to high-profile government programs and enforcement matters.
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualification legal experience in government contracts, national security, or related fields
- Strong legal research, writing and analytical skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Admission or eligibility to be admitted to practice in Washington, D.C.
- Special consideration for candidates with a clerkship on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit or the Court of Federal Claims, or academic training in government contracts law
- Interest and/or experience with transactional work involving government contractors (due diligence, purchase agreements, novations) is a plus
