We are seeking an Associate to join a well-established UK disputes and restructuring team in Manchester, working across contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters. The role sits within a cross-office insolvency group and offers exposure to advisory work, distressed asset and business sales, and insolvency litigation.

The post-holder will manage their own caseload (with appropriate supervision), assist on larger distressed transactions and litigation, and be involved in client development and marketing activities. You will be supported by senior fee-earners and encouraged to develop commercially-minded technical expertise.

Qualified solicitor with approximately 4 years' post-qualification experience.
Contentious and/or non-contentious experience across insolvency and restructuring matters.
Experience advising office holders, directors, lenders or stakeholders on restructuring/insolvency issues preferred.
Ability to manage files and run matters with appropriate supervision; strong client service focus.
Commercial awareness, drive and a flexible, proactive approach to work and business development.
