A Seattle-based litigation team is seeking an associate to join a national insurance coverage and general liability practice. The role offers substantive responsibility on coverage opinions and defense litigation within a well-resourced platform, with opportunities for mentorship and professional growth.

Typical matters involve analysis of first-party property and general liability policies, motion practice, discovery, and depositions; exposure to arbitration and trial work is a plus. The practice handles complex, high-exposure litigation and provides strong courtroom and trial support.

The team seeks a collaborative, analytically strong lawyer who produces high-quality legal writing and can manage case workflow across all phases of litigation.

3–7 years post-qualification experience in insurance coverage, general liability or related defense litigation
Admission to the Washington State Bar required
Experience analyzing coverage issues and drafting coverage opinions for first-party property and general liability policies
Proven litigation experience across case management, motion practice, discovery and depositions; arbitration/trial exposure preferred
Strong legal research, writing and analytical skills
