An established international insurance litigation group is hiring an associate to handle a broad range of general insurance and professional indemnity matters. The role offers exposure to mediations, arbitrations, trials and appeals, and involves working with senior counsel on commercial disputes and coverage issues.

You will draft pleadings and motion materials, conduct legal research and coverage analysis, prepare for and attend examinations for discovery and mediations, and appear in court on motions and hearings. Member in good standing of the B.C. Bar.
2–6 years post-qualification experience in insurance litigation or in-house insurance practice, with professional indemnity experience preferred.
Experience with pleadings, motion materials, trials/hearings and coverage analysis an asset.
Excellent legal writing, advocacy, analytical and client‑management skills; able to work independently and in teams.
Commercial judgement, strong interpersonal skills and an entrepreneurial approach to building client relationships.
