Join a top-tier Australian full-service firm’s Melbourne IP team as an experienced IP litigator. The team handles complex, high‑stakes patent and trade mark disputes and coordinates cross‑border strategies for major clients across sectors such as life sciences, technology, energy, consumer goods and manufacturing.

This role sits in a multidisciplinary practice that includes patent attorneys and lawyers with scientific backgrounds, offering exposure to technically sophisticated patent and trade mark litigation and commercially focused IP work. The team also embraces AI and emerging-technology tools to improve legal delivery and client outcomes.

You will work on contentious and advisory matters in a collaborative environment, with scope to take ownership of files, collaborate across disciplines and develop a strong IP litigation profile.

At least 3 years post‑admission (or equivalent) with solid experience in IP and technology matters, including hands‑on IP litigation.
Strong technical legal skills and excellent plain English drafting.
Comfort advising on commercially driven IP issues across industries with complex technology.
Practical experience using AI or other legal‑technology tools to enhance workflow.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team; client‑focused and proactive.
