Senior associate role within a market-leading Asia‑Pacific investment funds team based in Hong Kong. The team advises on structuring, formation and closings for private investment funds across private equity, venture capital, infrastructure, credit, real estate and sustainability/impact strategies, and on secondary and continuation transactions.

The role involves leading drafting and negotiation of fund documentation (LPAs, PPMs, subscription agreements, side letters, advisory agreements and legal opinions), running workstreams on secondaries and GP‑led transactions, liaising with internal specialist teams across offices, and managing matters from briefing to completion.

We are looking for a commercially aware, organised and client‑focused lawyer who can mentor junior staff, produce high‑quality work to tight deadlines and contribute to team thought leadership and client materials.

5–8 years' post‑qualification experience (PQE)
Common law or US qualification (e.g. England & Wales, Hong Kong, Singapore or US)
Practical experience in private closed‑end PE‑style fund formation, open‑end funds and co‑investment work from an international law firm
Strong drafting and negotiation skills on fund documentation and secondaries transactions
Excellent commercial awareness, client service skills, written/verbal communication and time management
