Join a global firm’s Liability Management team advising corporates, sponsors, creditor groups, hedge funds, direct lenders and distressed investors on liability-management and non‑traditional distress transactions. The team works across Banking & Private Credit, Capital Markets, Restructuring, M&A, Tax and Litigation to deliver bespoke solutions for complex capital-structure challenges.

This role is for an associate with 2–3 years' experience who has handled traditional finance, high‑yield capital markets or restructuring matters. Responsibilities include structural analysis of capital structures, advising on strategic alternatives and execution risk, drafting and negotiating transaction documents (credit agreements, indentures, intercreditor arrangements and related documents), and supervising more junior lawyers. The position offers early responsibility on high‑profile transactions in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.

2–3 years post-qualification experience in finance, capital markets or restructuring
Experience with high-yield, distressed-debt or liability-management transactions
Strong drafting and document negotiation skills (credit agreements, indentures, intercreditor agreements)
Ability to perform detailed capital-structure analysis and to advise on commercial solutions and execution risk
