Associate — M&A, Brisbane

Join a global law firm's Brisbane corporate team as an M&A Associate within an integrated APAC practice. The role offers regular exposure to cross-border and domestic mergers & acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, disposals and W&I insurance matters across a range of industry sectors.

You will work in a small, collaborative team alongside specialist M&A partners, taking responsibility for due diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction documents and supporting client-facing deal execution on complex, high‑profile mandates. The team offers structured professional development, exposure to international work and flexible/hybrid working arrangements.

• Minimum 2 years PQE in corporate/M&A gained at an international or top‑tier law firm
• Demonstrated experience on mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, or related corporate transactions
• Strong drafting, analytical and negotiation skills
• Excellent client‑facing skills, commercial judgement and a collaborative work ethic
