Corporate Life Sciences Associate (Private Companies) — New York

An elite private companies team is seeking 3rd–6th year associates to advise disruptive, venture-backed companies and the investors who fund them. The team works across the full growth cycle, from formation through financings and liquidity events, with a particular emphasis on the life sciences sector.

Life sciences companies of every size rely on this national platform for strategic corporate counsel. The role offers the chance to join a growing team working with clients shaping the industry, while building and running a practice, participating in speaking engagements, and contributing to the development of the national private companies offering.

New York-based, with a collaborative national team.

• At least three years of substantial experience with early-stage and growth-stage companies, ideally in the life sciences sector
• Deep experience counseling venture-backed companies on general corporate matters across the growth cycle, including venture capital financings and liquidity events
• Corporate department experience at a national or international law firm, specifically working with life sciences companies
• Strong academic record from a nationally recognized law school
