Associate, Private Companies (Life Sciences) — New York

Growing national private companies team is seeking a 3rd–6th year associate to advise venture-backed and growth-stage life sciences companies and their investors. The role focuses on venture financings, corporate governance and liquidity events across the company lifecycle.

Successful candidates will join a multidisciplinary transactional platform, have chances to build and run a practice, and contribute to firmwide business development and thought leadership efforts. The position includes a competitive pay range and a comprehensive benefits package.

• 3–6 years of corporate/transactional experience, with significant exposure to early-stage and growth-stage companies
• Substantial experience advising life sciences companies on venture financings and related corporate matters
• Experience in the corporate department of a national or international law firm
• Strong academic record from a nationally recognized law school
