Senior associate role within a well-regarded Professional Discipline and Regulatory team advising organisations in the healthcare, social care and education sectors. The team handles regulatory compliance, investigations, sector transactions, and representation at inquests and public inquiries.

The role involves advising on UK regulatory schemes across the sectors named, conducting and managing investigations (including safeguarding and professional disciplinary matters), supporting due diligence for acquisitions and disposals, and representing clients in inquests, public inquiries and judicial review proceedings.

  • Approximately 3–5 years' PQE with experience in regulatory work in healthcare, social care or education (or a strong subset of these sectors).
  • Experience conducting investigations, drafting witness statements and preparing investigation reports (including with vulnerable witnesses).
  • Practical experience of advising on regulatory compliance, inspections and enforcement proceedings; experience with inquests/public inquiries or tribunal work desirable.
  • Strong analytical, drafting and client-facing skills; comfortable with business development and knowledge-sharing activities.
