Our London real estate practice advises developers, owners, private and institutional investors, corporates, lenders and underwriters on market-leading transactions and disputes with real estate at their core. The team's work spans domestic and international real estate financings and cross-border transactional matters, with a strong focus on synthesising legal and commercial insight to deliver successful outcomes for clients in a dynamic market.

As an associate in the London team, you will work on transactional real estate matters around the world, engaging proactively with clients to build and maintain strong relationships and provide strategic advice tailored to their needs.

The role offers exposure to legal areas and asset classes beyond those typically handled by a conventional real estate practice, so candidates should be adaptable and willing to work outside their comfort zone. This position reports to a partner.

Between four and five years of post-qualification experience
Strong technical skills and a solid grounding in the property sector
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex legal concepts to non-lawyers and international clients
Strong academic record and intellectual curiosity, with a creative approach
Highly organised, able to manage multiple workstreams and meet short client deadlines
Collaborative team player who also demonstrates independence of thought and action
