An Associate opening has arisen within the restructuring and insolvency practice of a leading international law firm in Singapore. The team advises both international and domestic clients across a broad range of contentious, advisory, and transactional matters, and handles fast-moving engagements involving complex legal and commercial issues.

The role is focused on supporting an exceptional client base, working alongside restructuring and insolvency lawyers of diverse backgrounds and expertise. Ongoing duties include drafting legal documents and correspondence, conducting legal research, attending court hearings, and attending meetings and liaising with clients, creditors, and other stakeholders. Additional tasks may be required as the role develops.

The position would suit a well-rounded individual with restructuring and insolvency experience who takes strong ownership of their work, is detail-oriented with a keen aptitude for problem solving, and can prioritise and multi-task efficiently within a dynamic, collaborative environment.

1 to 2 years' post-qualification experience in restructuring & insolvency, together with commercial disputes experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High level of attention to detail
Analytical, organised, and able to demonstrate initiative
Able to work as part of a dynamic team and independently to meet deadlines
Proficient in PC skills (e.g., Word, Excel)
