Associate / Senior Associate, Insurance (Perth)

Join a national general insurance team based in Perth advising insurers, reinsurers and corporates on defence work across general liability, product liability, casualty and property damage matters. The role is hands-on and involves running matters through court, preparing evidence and briefs, and advising clients on liability defence strategies.

This position offers hybrid working, flexible hours (minimum 0.6 FTE considered), and structured development and mentoring opportunities. You will work closely with senior lawyers and have regular court exposure in the District and Supreme Courts.

• Minimum 4 years post-admission experience advising on defendant insurance matters (personal injury/general liability preferred)
• Experience managing files and running matters through court proceedings
• Strong drafting, advocacy preparation and evidence/witness statement skills
• Ability to supervise and mentor junior lawyers and work autonomously and in teams
