An opportunity to join a growing Projects, Infrastructure & Construction team in Belfast on a hybrid basis. The role covers both contentious and non-contentious construction work across infrastructure, energy, real estate development and public sector projects.

You will work on development and transactional construction matters, support dispute resolution (including adjudication and court proceedings), and gain experience with standard industry forms such as NEC, FIDIC, JCT and RIAI. The team advises on complex procurement and high-value projects and offers a clear path for progression.

The role involves client-facing work, business development activity, supervision of junior staff, and collaboration with colleagues across the firm’s UK network.

  • Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales or relevant jurisdiction) with approximately 1–6 years' post-qualification experience
  • Practical experience of contentious and non‑contentious construction matters in Northern Ireland and/or the Republic of Ireland
  • Familiarity with standard construction forms (NEC, FIDIC, JCT, RIAI) and construction procurement processes
  • Proven client-facing skills, strong drafting and advocacy for adjudication/court work, and experience supervising junior team members
  • Commercial mindset with ability to contribute to business development and regional growth
