Associate / Senior Associate — Tax, Melbourne

Established national law firm is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join its Melbourne tax team. The role will involve advising corporate and commercial clients on a range of Australian tax matters, including transactional tax, tax structuring and tax compliance advisory.

The team works closely with commercial and corporate practices and offers exposure to varied matters across industry sectors. This position is suitable for candidates who enjoy technical tax work combined with pragmatic commercial advice and client-facing responsibilities.

• Qualified lawyer admitted in Australia (or eligible for admission).
• Several years' experience in Australian tax law at a major firm or specialist tax practice (associate to senior associate level).
• Experience advising on transactional tax, tax structuring and tax compliance.
• Strong technical skills, commercial judgment and excellent written and oral communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage client relationships.
