Join an established Public Law & Human Rights team in Southampton handling meaningful, client-focused work. The role involves managing a varied caseload including Court of Protection matters, mental capacity matters and community care cases affecting vulnerable individuals.

You will deliver high-quality advice and documentation on health and welfare issues, care needs and funding disputes, and support challenges and complaints involving public bodies. The team offers a collaborative environment with development opportunities and flexible working arrangements.

  • At least 6 years' PQE in public law, Court of Protection or community care matters
  • Practical knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and related court practice
  • Experience acting for privately funded clients and managing a personal caseload
  • Strong drafting, analytical and organisational skills; empathetic and client-focused approach
