An internationally recognized corporate practice is seeking a capital markets attorney with two to six years of experience to join its New York team. The role sits within a sophisticated securities group advising companies and underwriters on public capital markets transactions.

The position offers exposure to headline equity and equity-linked offerings, including IPOs, along with ongoing public-company advisory work. Associates take meaningful responsibility for client relationships and manage day-to-day workflow for clients with complex needs, with a particular concentration in the technology, consumer/retail and life sciences sectors.

Two to six years of capital markets and public securities experience
Experience representing companies and underwriters in public securities offerings, including IPOs and other equity or equity-linked transactions
Experience advising public companies on corporate governance, SEC and exchange reporting and compliance
Background in the capital markets department of a national or international law firm
Strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school
Proven ability to manage client relationships and handle day-to-day workflow for clients with sophisticated needs
