Capital Markets Resource Attorney — Palo Alto

A leading global law firm is seeking a Capital Markets resource attorney to support one of its premier capital markets practice groups. This is a non-client-facing, non-billable role focused on enhancing the practice's marketing and business development, substantive know-how, and attorney efficiency.

The position sits at the center of a highly active practice covering IPOs, follow-on offerings, and other public and private capital-raising transactions, with significant SPAC and deSPAC work and a strong focus on technology and life sciences companies.

Responsibilities include tracking legal and regulatory developments, preparing client alerts, white papers, and external tools, maintaining internal know-how and work-product archives, updating forms and templates, coordinating speaking engagements and webinars, supporting RFP responses, and collaborating with marketing, professional development, information services, and practice innovation teams.

• Licensed attorney with a minimum of 5 years' experience representing issuers and investment banks in capital markets transactions
• Strong understanding of corporate governance, SEC reporting requirements, and related matters
• Familiarity with the technology and life sciences industries
• Excellent written and verbal communication and drafting skills
• Confident, engaging presenter with strong judgment and interpersonal skills
• Self-starter with strong organizational and time-management abilities and close attention to detail
