A New York office is seeking a corporate associate to join its capital markets and securities practice. This is a hands-on role within a busy transactional group focused on public and private securities offerings and ongoing public-company representation.

The successful candidate will work on public and private debt and equity offerings while also advising clients on Exchange Act reporting and day-to-day corporate governance matters. This includes SEC and stock exchange compliance, public company disclosure obligations, and broader business and transactional matters.

This is an excellent opportunity to take on substantive responsibility across both capital markets transactions and ongoing compliance and governance work in a collaborative New York team.

Four to six years of experience at a large law firm
Experience with public and private debt and equity offerings
Experience with Exchange Act reporting
Ability to advise on corporate governance, SEC and stock exchange compliance, and public company disclosure obligations
Admission to the New York State Bar
