An established Casualty Injury team is seeking an experienced lawyer to manage a caseload of employers' liability and public liability claims on behalf of defendants, valued up to £100k. The team acts for a substantial roster of insurers and self-insured corporates, and this role offers exposure to more complex matters under the guidance of experienced supervisors and senior lawyers.

The position is open to experienced paralegals, solicitors and CILEX lawyers. You will handle a varied mix of pre-litigated and litigated work, screening matters for prospects, advising clients on case strategy, and resolving claims through negotiation and litigation within client service standards. Full training and ongoing support are provided.

This suits practitioners with EL/PL claims experience likely to be allocated to the Intermediate or Multi Track. Applications are welcome from those with claimant, insurance or in-house backgrounds.

Experienced paralegal, qualified solicitor or CILEX equivalent with prior employers' liability and public liability claims experience
Claimant, insurance or in-house backgrounds considered
Proven communication skills at all levels and strong client relationship management

Ability to work with appropriate self-sufficiency while recognising the limits of own authority
