Seeking a 3rd–4th year commercial litigation associate to join a busy San Francisco litigation team. The role involves handling complex business disputes in state and federal court, including managing written and document discovery, researching and drafting pleadings and motions, taking and defending depositions, preparing witnesses, appearing for status conferences, and arguing motions. Trial preparation and settlement work are also part of the role.

The team values collegiality, intellectual curiosity, and strong client-facing skills. Ideal candidates are persuasive writers and oral advocates with a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work directly with partners and clients in a collaborative environment.

Candidates must be JD graduates from an ABA-accredited law school and in good standing with the California Bar (timely admission to the California Bar is a condition of employment). The position includes a stated salary range and a comprehensive benefits package.

3–4 years of litigation experience (state and federal courts preferred)
Experience with discovery management, drafting pleadings and motions, and deposition practice
Comfortable with trial preparation, settlement conferences, and courtroom appearances
Strong legal writing, oral advocacy, and client-interaction skills
JD from an ABA-accredited law school; active California Bar membership or timely admission required
Top academic record and demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative practice
