Apply in confidence →We are seeking a Commercial Technology and Outsourcing Lawyer to join a highly regarded, top-tier ranked national practice in London. This role contributes directly to complex, high-value commercial and technology projects, advising clients on innovation and operational transformation across a range of sectors — particularly where digitalisation, outsourcing and regulatory change converge.
The team handles some of the largest and most complex digital transformation mandates in the market, spanning both private and public sector clients. You will advise a long-standing client base including major corporates, household-name retailers, energy and utility providers, and industrial and manufacturing companies, working across national and cross-border transactions.
You can expect to work on tech transformations, cloud and SaaS arrangements, IT outsourcing, business process outsourcing, facilities management outsourcing, logistics, IT licensing and broader commercial contracts. The team is high-performing, cohesive and busy, with excellent prospects for career development and secondment opportunities.
- Qualified lawyer with 4+ years' PQE in commercial and technology law
- Demonstrable experience advising on IT outsourcing, SaaS/cloud, software licensing or technology infrastructure agreements
- Confidence leading transactions and managing client relationships
- Consultative, strategic approach — able to translate legal advice into commercial value
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver to time-critical schedules
- Desirable: sector experience in retail & consumer, financial services, energy and utilities, industrial/manufacturing or telecommunications
- Desirable: familiarity with regulatory issues impacting technology contracting (outsourcing rules, operational resilience, cloud guidance, data protection)
- Desirable: in-house experience or client secondments
