Mid-level associate role within a global EU competition team based in Brussels. The team advises on merger control, investigations, EU litigation and emerging regulatory regimes, providing cross-border support on complex antitrust matters.

The role is client-facing and offers early responsibility: drafting submissions and court pleadings, coordinating with international teams, and contributing to strategy on multi-jurisdictional mandates. The position involves regular collaboration across offices and occasional international travel.

We are looking for a Swedish-qualified lawyer with strong merger-control experience, excellent drafting and analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex issues clearly to clients and colleagues.

Qualified with the Swedish Bar (membership of an EEA Bar required)
3–5 years post-qualification experience, ideally from a top-tier international or leading Swedish firm
Proven experience in merger control and other EU competition matters
Excellent research, drafting and oral communication skills; client-facing experience
Ability to work collaboratively on cross-border, multi-disciplinary matters and manage tight deadlines
