Apply in confidence →Senior compliance attorney role supporting the firm’s Risk Management and Office of General Counsel teams. You will act as a subject-matter expert on conflicts of interest, ethics, and anti-money laundering, and advise attorneys and business stakeholders on intake, onboarding, and compliance issues.
The role includes drafting and negotiating engagement terms and waiver letters, guiding the Conflicts and New Business processes, and overseeing contract and IT master services agreement review and management across the firm. You will also lead special projects for Risk Management and the General Counsel as assigned.
- Juris Doctor and active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- 5–7 years’ relevant experience in a law firm or in-house compliance/legal role
- Strong knowledge of the Model Rules of Professional Conduct and applicable jurisdictional ethics rules
- Experience drafting and negotiating engagement letters, waiver letters, and commercial contracts (including MSAs)
- Excellent written and verbal communication, strong organizational skills, and ability to work to tight deadlines while maintaining confidentiality
