A nationally recognized Construction and Infrastructure Transactions practice is seeking an associate with three to six years of construction-related transactional experience. The role is available across multiple U.S. offices and serves large-scale energy, transportation, and industrial infrastructure projects.

You will draft and negotiate sophisticated project contracts, including EPC agreements, design-build documents, alternative delivery contracts, supply and purchase agreements, service and engineering agreements, and consulting agreements. The position offers direct partner mentorship, early client contact, and high responsibility within a collaborative, fast-paced team handling matters of national significance for institutional clients.

Attorneys work from the office three days per week, balancing in-person collaboration with individual flexibility and work-life balance. The anticipated initial annual salary range is $180,000 to $315,000, with actual compensation based on skills, training, experience, and location.

  • Three to six years of construction-related transactional experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency independently drafting and negotiating EPC, design-build, alternative delivery, supply and purchase, service and engineering, and consulting agreements
  • Hands-on experience advising on risk allocation, indemnification, insurance, bonding, and other critical commercial terms
  • Excellent legal writing skills, strong academic credentials, and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and multidisciplinary project teams
