A market-leading insurance & reinsurance team is recruiting a construction disputes associate to join its Bristol office. The role sits within a highly ranked construction professional negligence practice and offers regular client-facing work for contractors, engineering firms, insurers and brokers.

Typical work will include defending personal injury and professional negligence claims against construction professionals, handling engineering and construction disputes and assisting on insurance/policy coverage matters where required. You will join a collegial, technically strong team and have opportunities to work closely with senior lawyers and develop your own client network.

Qualified solicitor with 1-4 years PQE in construction disputes or related practice.
Experience of construction and engineering disputes; defending PI and professional negligence matters preferred.
Insurance or policy coverage experience advantageous but not essential.
Strong analytical and drafting skills, commercial judgment and client-facing/project management ability.
