A highly regarded national non-contentious construction team is seeking an experienced Senior Associate or Associate Director to join its growing practice, based in either Bristol or London. The role focuses on a broad spectrum of development work, with a particular emphasis on the "Living" sector across all tenure types, including forward funds, build-to-rent, affordable and mixed-use developments.

The practice advises on nationally significant infrastructure and development projects, including regeneration and iconic developments, mixed-use and residential schemes, commercial and logistics projects, major retail developments, and renewable energy generation. Work spans initial procurement advice and legal project management through to negotiating complex construction procurement agreements, whether bespoke or based on industry standard forms.

The successful candidate will lead transactions alongside a junior associate and guide and manage client stakeholders through developments. The team works closely with contentious construction, major projects, renewables, real estate and project finance colleagues, and there is genuine scope to grow and develop your own practice within a supportive, expanding team.

Experience in non-contentious construction matters gained at a well-respected City or national firm
Ability to lead transactions and manage client stakeholders through developments
Experience advising on developments in the "Living" sector across tenure types, including forward funds, BTR, affordable and mixed-use (desirable)
Versatility to work across a range of matters and sectors, including multi-party and project finance-led structures
Highly motivated with an interest in a broad range of project types and sectors
