Short-term consulting role supporting funds and asset management teams at leading financial institutions and investment managers. Work will cover fund formation and establishment (retail, private and alternative structures), fund offerings, registration, distribution and marketing, and investment management matters such as custody and prime brokerage arrangements.

Assignments are typically project-based (commonly 2–6 months) and can range from stepping in to support a team to leading a transaction or regulatory implementation. Roles generally require a minimum commitment of four days per week and suit experienced lawyers who want variety and control over their workload.

Qualified to practise in at least one of England & Wales, the United States, Hong Kong, Singapore or Australia
Prepared to operate via a Personal Services Company
Minimum 4 years' post-qualification experience in funds/asset management at a top-tier law firm
In-house legal experience at a financial services firm or secondee experience preferred
Strong commercial judgment, client-focus and excellent interpersonal skills
Self-starter comfortable operating autonomously on multi-jurisdictional matters
Available for assignments typically 2–6 months and able to work at least four days per week
