Top-tier corporate department is conducting a national search for a Houston-based associate with 4+ years of corporate transactional experience. The role offers early responsibility and exposure to a full range of corporate matters, including private equity, mergers & acquisitions and capital markets transactions.

The successful candidate will supervise due diligence, draft and negotiate acquisition and ancillary transaction documents, and help manage and close transactions. This is a hands-on role working closely with senior lawyers and clients across a variety of industries; ideal candidates are self-starters with strong analytical skills and a collaborative approach.

4+ years of relevant corporate transactional experience
Demonstrated experience supervising due diligence
Experience drafting and negotiating acquisition and ancillary transaction documents
Track record managing and facilitating deal closings
Experience on private equity, M&A and capital markets matters
Strong analytical skills, self-starter, and team-oriented
