Apply in confidence →An established national firm is seeking a transactional tax associate with at least two years of experience to join its elite tax-exempt organizations practice, based in its Downtown Los Angeles office. The role sits within the firm's corporate department and offers the chance to build a high-level nonprofit and tax-exempt practice alongside experienced partners.

The practice also covers tax compliance, unrelated business income, private inurement and benefit, intermediate sanctions, executive compensation, governance, fundraising, and charitable giving. The position is on an equity partner track, supported by structured training, CLE, and hands-on development.
- At least 2 years of transactional tax experience at a large law firm
- Some experience advising nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations is required; a demonstrated interest in developing a tax-exempt organizations practice is strongly preferred
- Excellent academic credentials and strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
- Admission to the California Bar
- LLM in Taxation preferred but not required
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-moving environment on an equity partner track
