Join a national UK legal team as a Costs Lawyer/Draftsman supporting litigation workflows. The role involves preparing Bills of Costs for Detailed and Provisional Assessment, managing court-led litigation of bills, and providing technical support and training to fee-earning teams.

You will advise and take instructions from clients, liaise with stakeholders across the business, and may conduct advocacy at court where required. The team offers hybrid working flexibility and a supportive, inclusive environment with wellbeing and community-focused initiatives.

Minimum 2 years' experience in costs drafting or working within costs functions (in-house or external supplier)
Basic knowledge of civil litigation procedure and court costs processes
Strong written and verbal communication skills and professional telephone manner
Comfortable with legal IT systems, time recording and working independently or as part of a team
Desirable: ACL qualification or ILEX Part 1 (Year 1) and/or experience across legal departments
