Top-tier corporate team seeks a Cross Border M&A Associate to join its New York office on sophisticated domestic and international transactions, with a particular emphasis on cross-border deals involving the US, Latin America and other global markets.

The role involves advising public and private companies, private equity sponsors and other stakeholders across all phases of transactions: structuring, drafting and negotiating agreements, coordinating diligence, managing deal execution and advising on governance and integration issues in multi-jurisdictional matters.

The team works collaboratively across practices (tax, finance, regulatory, employment, etc.); candidates should be comfortable on fast-paced matters with multiple jurisdictions and sophisticated counterparties.

Minimum 3 years' post-qualification M&A experience (domestic and cross-border) in a law firm environment
Proven experience drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, investment/joint venture agreements and ancillary transaction documents
Demonstrated ability to coordinate due diligence and manage deal execution across multiple jurisdictions, including Latin America
Strong commercial judgment, excellent drafting and communication skills, and comfort working in cross-practice deal teams
J.D. (or equivalent) and active admission or eligibility to be admitted in New York
