A growing cyber, data, and privacy practice group is seeking a midlevel associate to join its litigation and investigations team. The group consists of over 30 full-time attorneys across the US, UK, Europe, and Asia, and continues to expand its award-winning privacy and data security litigation and investigations practice.

The role involves defending data privacy and security class actions and handling regulatory enforcement investigations involving consumer protection issues. Matters include claims under the Stored Communications Act, wiretapping claims, unfair and deceptive trade practices, and data breach class actions, as well as work before state attorneys general, the FTC, and other regulatory agencies.

The position is available in multiple offices, including New York, San Francisco, Chicago, and Washington, DC.

4–6 years of experience focusing on regulatory investigations or litigation involving consumer protection issues (State AG, FTC, and other regulatory agencies) and/or defending data privacy and security class actions, including Stored Communications Act claims, wiretapping claims, unfair and deceptive trade practices claims, and data breach class actions
High level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school
Ability to engage directly with clients and lead significant projects
General tech fluency and impeccable analytical and writing skills
