Apply in confidence →A growing cyber/data/privacy litigation team is seeking a midlevel associate (4–6 years) to join its US litigation and regulatory investigations practice. The role is open in multiple US offices, including New York, San Francisco, Chicago, and Washington, DC, and will focus on defending privacy and data-security matters and responding to enforcement investigations.
Typical matters include regulatory investigations (state attorneys general, federal agencies) and defense of privacy- and data-security-related class actions and consumer protection claims. Successful candidates will be able to manage significant projects, engage directly with clients, and contribute to a busy litigation docket.
- 4–6 years of litigation or regulatory investigations experience handling privacy, data-security, or consumer-protection matters
- Experience defending data-privacy and security class actions and/or responding to State AG, FTC, or similar investigations
- Strong academic credentials and demonstrable legal writing and analytical skills
- Comfort with client interaction, project leadership, and general technology fluency
