Cyber/Data Privacy Associate (Litigation)

Seeking a mid-level associate to join a national cyber, data privacy and security litigation and investigations practice. The team handles regulatory enforcement matters and complex defense-side litigation arising from data breaches, consumer protection and related privacy claims.

The role is open to candidates in multiple U.S. offices (including New York, San Francisco, Chicago and Washington, D.C.). The successful candidate will take a lead role on significant matters, work directly with clients, and contribute to written advocacy and investigative responses.

• 4-6 years of litigation and/or regulatory investigations experience involving privacy, data security, or consumer protection enforcement
• Experience defending data-privacy class actions and/or responding to State AG, FTC, or similar regulatory investigations
• Strong analytical and writing skills, with proven ability to manage projects and communicate directly with clients
• Comfort with technology-related issues and e-discovery; excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school
