A growing, award-winning Cyber/Data/Privacy practice group is seeking a midlevel associate to focus on litigation and regulatory enforcement investigations involving privacy and data security matters. The role sits within a diverse, multi-office US team that is part of a broader international group of more than 30 full-time privacy and data attorneys across the US, UK, Europe, and Asia.

The practice is actively expanding its litigation and investigations offering, and this position offers the chance to take on significant responsibility — engaging directly with clients, leading substantial projects, and shaping strategy on high-profile privacy and data matters.

The role is open across multiple offices, with flexibility on location for the right candidate.

4–6 years of experience focused on regulatory investigations or litigation involving consumer protection issues (state AG, FTC, and other regulatory agencies)
Strong grounding in defending data privacy and security class actions, including claims under the Stored Communications Act, wiretapping claims, unfair and deceptive trade practices claims, and data breach class actions
High level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school
Ability to engage directly with clients and lead significant projects
General technology fluency
Impeccable analytical and writing skills
