Debt Finance Associate (1st–3rd Year)

An Am Law 20 firm seeks a junior-level associate to join its Debt Finance practice, representing lenders, borrowers, and/or private equity sponsors in a broad range of debt financing transactions.

This is a hands-on role that includes closing transactions, drafting documents and issues lists, and advising on secured lending matters. The team handles acquisition financing, debt securities offerings, and general corporate finance work, offering significant responsibility and client exposure.

The position is open across multiple offices and offers a collaborative platform with a strong national finance practice.

• 1 to 3 years of experience representing lenders, borrowers, or private equity sponsors in debt financing transactions.
• Working knowledge of secured lending transactions and Article 9 of the UCC.
• Experience with closing transactions and drafting documents and issues lists.
• Familiarity with acquisition financing (including commitment letters) and debt securities offerings (high yield and/or convertible notes) preferred.
• JD or equivalent with strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school.
• Large law firm training and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
