Debt Finance Attorney — New York

Seeking an associate to join a busy debt finance team in New York. The role involves representing lenders, borrowers and private equity sponsors on a range of debt financing matters, including secured lending and acquisition financings.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on closing experience, familiarity with drafting financing documents and issues lists, and practical knowledge of Article 9 UCC and related secured-transactions concepts.

• JD (or equivalent) from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
• 1–3 years post‑qualifying experience in debt finance, representing lenders, borrowers and/or private equity sponsors
• Practical experience with secured lending, closing transactions, and drafting financing documents
• Familiarity with Article 9 of the UCC, acquisition financing and related corporate concepts
• Ability to manage multiple matters, strong attention to detail, and prior training at a large law firm
